RACE FUEL in Billings

I found some old threads about Torco by the barrel on here, but I think that is old news. What is available and where? I am looking to buy the highest octane UN-leaded fuel I can get.

Cross Petroleum has Sunoco 260 that is 104 octane, $540 for a 55 gallon drum. This same barrel in Denver is nearly $150 cheaper. Is this the only local option?

We were a distributor and I think probably still can buy stuff. The problem is shipping was a fortune if you only did a 5 gallon or 50 gallon drum at a time. We were using the octane booster which unlike most octane booster junk it was actually high concentrate race gas that when blended with standard fuel made for 100+ octane depending on the mix percentages. I know Torco had 108 or 110 that was unleaded. If you want to look into them I can see about getting you some pricing.

DRW has 110 and 120 octane. Dont remember what I was paying for it as it was 2 years ago, but I do know I loved it (mostly just loved the smell).

The 110/120 is leaded so I can't use that.

As it turns out, Cross Petroleum does not even stock unleaded. They offered to order me a barrel today at an extra $90 shipping on top of the already exorbitant price, OR, they can order me a barrel the next time they put in an order, which wouldn't be for a few weeks.

I know we live in MT people, but COME ON with the jacked prices already!!

I can call Cross and see what my price would be on a barrel if you'd be interested in going in on one. We have a corporate account with them so my price would probably be better than what you were quoted.

check with neibauers also, last time i was there i believe i saw 110 unleaded

No luck finding 104 yet... I would REALLY like to get some within the next week or so.

I used vp110 unleaded last season for a bit, works great! Neibauers might have it in stock 652-1689

I could get you some E85 from north dakota. 105 octane and 3.25 a gallon. Can't get much better than that.

High tech motorsports sells a variety of vp race fuels... its been a few years since I've bought any so im not sure on the prices...

I finally got a barrel through Cross. Good to know there are a few options though. Next time I will plan to order in advance.
