| Point proven: 7 people have viewed this thread, and not one single post. Cmmon guys! Mikey has put too much effort into this club and site for it to just slowly die off. Anyone add a new mod to their ride? Why not post it up?! Have an idea for a meet (like meeting @ an SCCA event?) POST IT UP!!! | |

dude! Was impressed you spotted me in the sammy the other day and waved! Thanks to Todd... this is like my second post in two months I think... way to go Todd. But in my defense.... alot of people on here are pansies and complain about dumb stuff. Can't handle the drama with pointless topics... Save that crap for for Kmart parking lot kiddies. Just saying... Nels is doing a great job with the paint on his car though.... heard his right bicep is 4" bigger than his left one now....

well.......... lol. not picking on you Todd. Not my point. Just saying.... most people on here are to broke to do much on their car. So the topics drift into "what if " land and aren't practical "wow check this cool project out" kinda stuff.... I mean its the same guys doing the same stuff.... Take you and me for instance Todd.... what do we have to post about.... hmm.... I got lots of dead bugs on my car in Lewistown and was too busy driving or working on my car to take pics or video... anyone want to talk about it? ya.... no.... boring. Sorry

| I guess what I'm saying.... is if that same video was a group of guys from Montana or Wyoming or something then i would be like... wow... cool who are these guys. We need to hang out with them because they're doing stuff. But for us to sit on our computers and talk about how cool it is to watch a video of guys in Sweden do this..... lame. So surprise me and go make a video like that with nice cars like that without pissing off people in town or getting arrested and i will kiss your big toe Ok.... end of rant. and that concludes my post count for this quarter. | |

| Ok, this probably isn't very exciting for most folks, but I'm pretty stoked about it since I've been saving for quite awhile to get K-Sport Coilovers for the Zombie Tomato, which I put on yesterday. It corners WAY bettter and I was able to lower the front about 2", rear 1.5" without making it a pain to drive around these parts. While its far from 'stanced' or 'fitted' or whatever, it is still completely usable and a ton more fun to drive through corners. I can't wait to get it back on the track in a couple weeks to see what it can do. | |

Last time I saw the car he was trying to say it was 383. I didn't know who to believe. Thanks for clarifying. It must be the skinny fronts that make the rears look wide. When it hooks, It won't even reel in a car with "half" the power. Hahaha!

| Matt, just because you said that, I'm going to drop my spare Chevy 350 in this Volvo. And Volvos use the same Dana rearend as Jeeps apprently, so Detroid TrueTrac, here i come!
All that power going to 185/75R14 tires... Gonna spend more time sideways than straight.

All that power going to 185/75R14 tires... Gonna spend more time sideways than straight. Just remember what i said.... Nice Volvo (meaning they have decent paint and cosmetics... even a flame job on that one) and can't fall apart. I.E. dependable.... not on jack stands in your driveway for 6 months straight and then drive it for a week then back on jack stands again. So there you are.... you said you'd do it... lets see it. Sounds like a good challenge. And yes... that's coming from me... the guy with a Frankenstein swap already done in my car. Meaning I know how much work it will be... Surprise us man! oh.... and .... then when you're done... post a pic of your car sideways in your sig.... instead of a poser pic of a car you've never owned... like that 350z or that mustang. Just saying.... Or you could make a video of a shifter kart in a tractor pull competition.

Stuart! looks awesome man! I think I rank you very high on the scoobie list. You actually have done real practical usefull mods to your car that effect the way it drives for the better AND you run the piss out of that thing on the track. Which is way more that Most scoobie owners in this town can say.... except of course for the few scoobie guys we know that are at the track.... which isn't many.

Don't do dirt or gravel.... that's for sissies.... and too much dust. Not good for pic or video. Wet asphalt is good.... but dry asphalt is even better. Although the smoke from the tires can be bad for the pic.... it's an acceptable interference issue. lol

| It goes as fast as I can push it. Shooting to get some testing in around the end of the month. Hoping to bring it to Spokane in September. Should finish up the fabrication next week, then it goes to paint the fdollowing. Here's how it was sitting when I left last night, I've since finished sanding it. Never again. | |

Or will this be one of those things that fades away as an idea never to be heard of again? I'm almost done fabricating a new duel wilwood master cylinder setup for my car with remote adjustable bias bar. It will be awesome.

All that power going to 185/75R14 tires... Gonna spend more time sideways than straight. So I'm going to say this 350 swap isn't going to happen. Classic example of why this forum is kinda dead. Cause one day I'm going to build an Ultima GTR kit car.... you guys just wait. Don't know how long you will all have to wait to see it.... but just wait cause one day it will happen... um unless something happens.... or I change my mind.... or something cooler comes along I can actually afford. Although I probably should not have bumped this thread back to the top.... just figured I'd point out the irony here.
