Differential Mechanic in Billings?

Hey Guys,

I am in serious need of a differential mechanic that can change out my open differential to a newly purchased Quaife LSD model QDF11L

I need someone who has experience changing these out including the swapping of the ring gear and measuring the backlash. I paid $1100.00 for the new LSD and when it goes back in it needs to be right. I have the service manual with the specs and tolerances also.

I called Billings Nissan and they have no one that has done one of these before so I kind of got the feeling I did not want to bring it there.

My car is a 2010 Nissan 370, 6sp manual, non-sport model. I have the new Quaife LSD, new side bearings and new replacement Redline 75W90 GL5 gear oil at my shop in Shepherd. I can pull the pumpkin and bring it to a mechanic or if there is a shop available that has a lift I am willing to go that route also. My main concern is to find a mechanic that is experienced with changing these out and measuring the backlash.

Edit - Scratch that. I forgot those are rear wheel drive. I would call Steve at Brown's Auto West on S. 20th.

RWD axle carrier changes are all pretty much the same procedure, slight things different but the process is pretty much the same regardless of make/model.

Just want to say THANKS to Ryan and his crew at 1 Stop Automotive, he really did "hook me up" with a great job on my diff., he is one pro mechanic. Thanks a ton and I would recommend him to anyone.
