| Putting in a 347 stroker fuel injected, custom grind cam from Camshaft Innovations, Ported gt40X heads, Edelbrock Super Vic Carb. intake modded for fuel injection, and 90mm Wilson thottle body.Kind of like my buddy's setup, but he does have a better set of heads than me (TFS High Ports) . It ran a 11.19 last year in Billings just on the motor. I'm going to run a 150 or 250 shot of nitrous with that should help me keep up. Also going with a toploader 4-speed and inline shifter from g-force transmisions. Hoping to get into the low 11's or high 10's maybe. | |

Also got the dash and wiring finished up Now I am going to work on puting in the battle boxes and roll bar in so that should take another month or two HA HA HA. Hopfully not.

Ya Sammy I'm still kickin just been trying to do 500 things at once, working on the house, car, kids out for the summer and looking for a job. You car is looking good how is the t-top project do you want to send it my way.

| Well it's pretty cool to see how it's going. keep up the good work man.
I'm originally from Great Falls moved down here to Billings about ten years ago after I got out of school. Adam and I used to work together back when he had just put the 460 in it. I vividly remember helping out with the temporary power steering pump install. Had to use a craftsman socket for a spacer. lol And the temporary fix was just a little longer than temporary. lol
Good to start seeing some of the Great falls crowd... wonder if I'll recognize anyone else?

| Ya that socket was on there till he pulled out that big block. HA HA. His 91 LX mustang NA 347 is running pretty close to the 10's (11.19 with broke rearend) He made some more changes to it this summer so next year it should be well into the 10's on just the motor for sure. | |

| Just when we think we are on a roll to get this thing going we get shut down. The only thing that went right with the heads is the rocker geometry. So all the machine work was right on the money. The first thing that is wrong is the rockers are really 1.7 ratio not 1.6 they are labeled as. Running such a close coil bind distance ".060" the installed hight of the springs need redone. Not that big of a deal. But we did find a broken rocker. So nothing can get done without replacements. Hopefully Scorpion will replace the whole set. Guild plates are also wrong and need to be widened. A little more time and the valve train geometry will be PERFECT. | |
