| So, a good friend of mine is going to Iraq in july, when he gets back he is going to have an ass load of money. He and i have been talking and we are considering dumping way to much money on making a Ju-sti, yes I combined Justy and STI... I know there are alot of Subie owners here myself included. I think this would one hell of a build and be really different. Now the only reason I am posting this master plan is to see what yall think of it so feel free to comment, but keep in mind it would be mind blowing if we could pull this off lol | |

| my two cents! That would be one hell of a lot of money for about two minutes of wow factor quickly followed up by a lot of disappointment for dumping money into a useless little hatchback.
There is a lot of military people that dump all their money into cars when they return, but try to do something cool that will actually be cool for the long haul!
Justy's already come turbo and awd for some models.... so if anything save your cash on the swap and just build the stock engine. | |

| Lol we know all this, and he is going to by a wrx wagon when he gets back but its just a idea we have had. and i think it would last longer then two minutes, im thinking at least a day before it sinks in. What we want to do is swap over a four cylinder motor and get rid of the three. I think it could be a fun little thing | |

| I'm down for it... It's always been one of those things of what if, and why not really... I mean we have the capabilities to do this swap its just the funds we lack. If Sean seriously wants to do this I'm in 100%. Besides, I love the learning experience we all get from doing stuff like this. | |

| what i would do if he is going to buy a wagon, take the ej20 out of the wagon and put that in the justy, and do the ej257 into the wagon. | |

| I agree with Jake, if you are going to spend the money put the motor into a decent chassis. Yeah it would be cool to have a small rocket, but regret will kick in once you destroy an axle in the first 2 seconds of driving, unless you are planning on doing a complete STI swap which will mean alot of R and D and tons of hours customizing. | |

| Our main goal isnt to do just the motor swap but a whole conversion so the only thing left from the justy is the body, I think it could be a lot of fun to build | |
