I like to think I am ahead of the times, or on the leading edge - however some of the "trendier" stuff, I don't like personally. The rusted patina hoods on an otherwise clean car, not for me.
When i first moved to Billings 5 years ago, I saw neon lights and body kits and realized "wow, this town is 5 years behond the times". Don't get me wrong, some kits can look clean, but the same damn "Blitz" body kit on every Eclipse... -10 on cleanliness, let alone originality.
You know what? That last paragraph still applies to last week...

your last sentence has been the way I have done every car I have owned since day one..Have always been a big fan of a nice looking lip kit
As for the primed hoods I agree not a fan of that at all..Nor am I a fan of super strech tires and wheels sticking way out..Shit that fad we were doing on VW's back in 1994 when I lived in Germany and only reason I liked them then was cuz the golfs had fender flares stock so it filled the area better but I never went out as far as I am seeing some of these kids go..Funny how things I did as High schooler are making a come back lol...Another one I dont understand is wider wheels on back WTF its a FWD

Yeah, I've never understood a staggered look on a FWD car... to each his own I guess. I do what I like, if someone isn't a fan, that's their problem.

Ben, do you still have your stock SI rear LCAs? (price?) I built a sway bar but am kinda spooked at the idea of welding tabs on my vx lcas. Since I think they are cast and I dont want them to fail. I am not sure on fit, do the obd2 lcas fit on eg hatches? If so you have a potontial customer!!

I had to put my stock lcas back on car when i sold it..Wanted to keep all my new goodies for my next project..And as far as I know 96-00 lcas should work on ur hatch..The better since I have set that I want to use on eg hatch lol

Mornin' folks. I havent been posting much, because I've been pretty damn busy at work, and for the 12 hrs I made it home last week, we didn't have internet as the guy isn't coming to install it until Monday I believe. All I had time to do at home was get some sleep, anyways.
Sorry I didn't make it out to the SCCA event. I wanted to go, but was working on that damn Yukon all day. Its being nothing but a headache.

At least there are some honda/acura people on MAEC now. All that"s needed to finish it off is a rice forum
Ricing the Ricer up sum more.
USMCTX and me were chatting about ricers in Billings.
There are some pretty retarded looking cars in Billings.
nothing against hondas just think it's funny that there is an alter ego twin culture of honda people out there.

Not to be an ass but I didnt start this thread to see this stuff..It was started so that the Honda/Acura and all other car guys had somewhere to post up questions, get togethers etc..Not cars that arnt even in this state..Probably why alot of them dont post..Cuz I know if I seen this thread and some of the dumb posts I wouldnt...So please KEEP ON TOPIC.....Get togethers, intros, questions, pics.. But please dont post up cars that you find on internet that you think are RICE..If you find the need to post that start a thread..PLEASE
Mods be very appreciated if we get those pics deleted as I dont want people to think that if they post there car on here they are gonna get flamed cuz it isnt to some peoples standards!!! Thank you

alot of posts have drifted away off topic alittle. And i figured alot of import owners don't like the term "ricer". If anyone should be offended it's me...being asian, eating rice every damn day, and driving a civic that i have some cosmetic plans for. In the end I couldn't care less. I say grow tough skin and laugh alittle at yourself and enjoy.
but sure I'll try to keep it on topic.

I have tough skin..Just dont think it is cool to dog on cars especially when they are doing something with there car..We all might not agree with the direction they are taking but I dont think it is necassary to make fun of them..Keep it to your self or atleast dont post it on intertet where people that might like that stuff see it and dont want to join up or atleast post on here...We all start somewhere in the car world...Thats just an opinion from an old guy that has learned from his past...Or how about the old sayin" if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all" LOL
These are just my opinions..and those things werent the direction I was looking for thread to go

Ebc kevlar yellowstuff pads for 92-95 ex civic. These are the grippiest pads that ebc makes. I bought them for $95 and they are the wrong ones for my car so before I send them back I thought I would give yall a shot at them. best offer (to a point).

Well 1st on the agenda is overhauling the front brake system.
I'm looking at Stoptech right now. My drilled rotors in front were cracked after blasting down the mountain on BTR Saturday.
I'll keep the drilled/slotted rotors in the rear.
last time I'll get drilled rotors.
I wana get something with large diameter.
I'll later do sway bars front and rear, new struts, shocks, springs.....AEM Cold Air Intake.
cosmetically i'll probably leave it alone.
