| *UPDATE June 25th 2011*We had a meeting last night about the future of the Lewistown event and we are going to pray people still want to do this as there seems to be no real interest in the event anymore. As of right now we have the entire weekend reserved (July 23rd and 24th). The cost of the weekend of racing is $70 or a single day session is $40. If there is not enough interest to have a 2 day event we will just end up cancelling the Sunday event and running on Saturday only (I am still in the process of figuring out the cutoff for a cancellation). Everyone at the meeting last night was 100% on board with having only 10 people and higher fees, so we will be having at least 1 July event. If you end up paying for 2 days and we only run 1 you will be reimbursed for the second day. Entry fee cutoff is going to be the 20th of July, so if you want on board slip me some funds. $40 for a single day and $70 for the weekend. $60 for a single day (2 drivers, 1 car) and $100 for the weekend (2 drivers, 1 car)Starting a new thread for the next Lewistown. Keep it constructive. I started an attendance list as a sticky in the track day section located here: http://www.maecforum.com/t1616-july-24th-attendance-list#28952Event is now pre-pay only and for any reason we end up cancelling you will be reimbursed. Total for the day is going to be $40 and cut-off will be July 20th. My PayPal is doodiehd@hotmail.com. You can also send a check to Box 302, Shepherd 59079. As soon as payment is received you will be added to the list.

| Just curious if you are only charging those who are running their cars, or if anyone wanted to merely come up and watch? I ask because I can't necessarily risk blowing up my daily-driver, but would be interested in going and watching and helping out n' stuff.

| You are more than welcome to come and watch which costs nothing. We are always looking for people to watch corners and any extra help is always appreciated. | |

| You can always get rides with people as well, just remember to sign the waiver. Add me to the list for July, and add my wife as well (Alisa). She won't put in much track time, but definitely plans to do some laps. I figure by the end of the weekend, I can have her running nose-to-tail with me lapping back traffic | |

| Mike what's the latest time someone can sign-up/prepay for the July event? I hope the drama from this past weekend on the May 28 thread will be settled by the time this rolls around. | |

| Now if I'm not mistaken this will be an RSVP PRE-PAID ONLY event correct Mike? I just want to make sure everyone is aware that if you say you're going to come, you are going to be expected to pay ahead of time and acrtually show up to the event. We had plenty of people cancel this last event for no good reason (some had very good reasons and I respect that but others just didn't show up) and Mike ended up getting stuck with the bill. We would like to avoid these issues in the future.
As for my attendence: I will always make EVERY Lewistown event weather I get to drive or not so count me in as a spectator for now until I get to tear into the Venge to find out her issues.

| I was supposed to make it to the last event and basically told everyone I would be there but the week before Lewistown I found out that I had to roof a house and that I will be needing to drive to Deadwood in two weeks so either way I was screwed. I roofed all weekend and I also couldn't afford screwing up the STi before the road trip. I am thinking I will be able to make it to the September event as I already have the go ahead from the wife so as soon as life calms down and this summers' events are over with I should be there. | |

| I can't wait for the next event already!
I can only expect that it will be better with a better showing of drivers!
I would like to thank everyone that helped out with the May event.... it's much appreciated.
And special thanks to the 406 crew for the BBQ and burgers and all. That was awesome. Hopefully next time everyone can chip in some money on site to cover the expenses for that if you guys are gracious enough to volunteer for that again.
Kudos to Mike for enduring all this stress. Just remember we are like a family.... and to get anywhere we have to grow. I see all this drama as just some growing pains. It will all work out and the events will just get better and safer.
Thanks again to all that helped and see you at the July event!
Special thanks to James Rowen for giving free driving lessons to those that wanted it!

Maybe........ I usually try and hop on there as well as BSS and BigSkyEuro and lurk around just to see what the local peeps are up too. I originally hoped everyone would congragate over here to MAEC so it would all be in one place but that didn't happen lol. What can I say, some people hate us (I will clean up this thread and keep it on topic later, no worries)

And thanks for the clarification on the 406 customs vs. 406 crew. Can't wait for July. Should have coilovers and some nice wide sticky tires on the car by then!

| The way I am going to make this work is once you pay I will add you to the list. If we dont get enough people the event will be cancelled, unless we come up with the money. I want to have money in hand before we head up so there is no dealing with this having to pay crap and worrying about whether or not we will make enough to cover the event. It will make my life easier the day of since we will now be setting up the track in advance. All I want to do race day is race. | |

| I wanted everyone to know that I have only had (3) people pay me for the next event thus far. Anyone that is going to be running please get money to me as soon as you can. The event is only 4 weeks away and we are very far away from covering the cost of the track. Paypal is doodiehd@hotmail.com or you can also pay at a local meet. Cost of the day is $40 no matter when you pay. As of right now it looks like we are not going to be having a track day in July. | |

| I'm stoked about this event got my car runnng again. I think anyone can do this event with a daily driver, just take the course at your own pace and to your ability and you shouldn't have troubles wth your motor. Th only way a motor I'll blo is if you are bouncing it off the rev limiter or you have engine troubles already. That's my opinion | |

It's the best time you will have in your drivers seat GUARENTEED!!! Lets try and get enough people to have both days guys, this is an opportunity you don't want to miss!! Payment sent BTW Mikey

Isnt there another opportunity to attend in Sept? Not if no one shows interest in the July event. Basically if people aren't going to be coming anymore to these events then we will stop having them and there will be NO MORE opportunities. The first 2 years we had this event there was huge interest and the turnout size kept getting bigger with every event! Then there was our last event in May where only a handful of people actually came and Mike almost got stuck paying the bill out of his own pocket. I understand there are a few of you attending Sport Compact day at the drag strip on Sunday the 24th and that is a good excuse to miss the event IMO

we need a minimum of 25 people to show up to make the two day event work. We have also decided that if we have over ten people.... we will put on the saturday event and cancel the sunday event. But.... even with ten people we would have to bump up our payment amount to cover the track expense.

| I'm definitely gonna be there with the rotten tomato legacy, and Jenn enjoyed it last time despite the freezing rain; I might even have her talked into driving a few laps so we'll both be there. I just gotta get paid and put together the money to get on the list. Also gotta figure out whether I can afford to stay overnite so I can play both days. I'll be getting that sorted out in the next week. | |

So that leaves $450..... worst case scenario we have a one day event on Saturday it looks like
