First- thanks to everyone for a great event.
GET YOUR CAR TINTED BY VERN AT THE TINT FACTORY IN BILLINGS. He sponsors us and provides the necessary insurance coverage. Without his support, we would all pay double the current price.
My vids are still uploading and processing, but here are some photos to get it started. There were cameras and gopro's everywhere, so let's see that footage!
I did some brake work on my friend's Mazdaspeed3 before the event, and Carbotech broke my heart. Lack of quality control = fail. However, the XP10's still got the job done. Anti-rattle springs could not be mounted.

DUE TO A LACK OF LOCAL SUPPORT, MAEC HAS GONE INTERNATIONAL. I am now recruiting Canadians for our track days. Ironically, they did not bitch and moan about how Helena is too far and too expensive, despite driving 500 miles each way to attend and paying upwards of $1.30 PER LITER for fuel along the way.

OOps. Was working on the MR2 and accidentally left my shop light on the header. I realized something was wrong when smoke started trickling up through the shifter hole while heading down the back straight. I was genuinely confused since the engine is in the back, and because it smelled like burning plastic. Note: not only are half the LED's still lit, others started coming back to life as the unit cooled off. GO CRAFTSMAN! I will be buying another.
