EJ255 Cam Noise

Well, I seem to have developed a drivers side exhaust cam noise. I went through the process of elimination because of the crappy idle and strange exhaust sound that has developed in the last two weeks. I have logged no misfires, I have logged the Oil Control Valve parameters and they seem normal, changed and inspected old plugs. Performed a compressiion check, all cylinders less than 1 psi difference. Changed oil again. Stethoscoped the whole engine, top to bottom, from intake to turbo to the down pipe and the only excessive noise I find is around the exhaust cam area on the driver side head. This leads me to believe that either the cam is bad or the lash caps(buckets) are bad or even a broken valve spring. SO, I want to see if anybody has a different opinion on the subject. Oh yea, if it is what I think it is, I will be looking for some cams for an EJ255 AVSC car, so let me know.
I will be doing a leak down test today just to make sure I don't have a valve seating issue.

Yea, yea... soon. I need to rebuild the carb and do all the maintenance that is required for a six year slumber. So I have to check the valve springs, adjust rockers, change plugs and oil. First I to make sure the subie is solid... Wait, your just lookin for some one else to whoop on aren't cha? Ahh you'll get your chance.
