That is the main reason I love my SOHC EJ25 as it is non-interference motor.

I believe the 2.0 is an interference motor. The 1.8 however is not. You're probably gonna have some valve damage. If you're lucky, that's all that will be wrong. Hopefully it didn't damage the heads or pistons in the process.

i thought the 4g63 motors were non interference motors, im not sure but i remember doing a belt on one of them about 2 years ago. i never even checked the head, but it didn't run bad after i put it back together so i would think it's non inter.

Well I got the motor out and the bottom end is in good shape but the head is toast, I was thinking about just getting a new head but decided to rebuild the whole thing. the block is out getting punched .30 over for ross forged pistons, the head is getting rebuilt gonna be pretty much stock since im gonna drive it everyday I dont really know the right way to upload pics yet.

Glad to see you got it all figured out. I found out the hard way that tampering with your daily driver can really make your life a living hell. The Dragon used to be my only car and when she first broke down I was really screwed. Glad I have the deuce now.

I also replaced all the axles and rebuilt the tranny with all new bearings and syncros so it stays in first and no more grinding gears

what 16g looks like a 4 inch inducer shroud? btw like the 2 gen dsm!

Its a Forced performance pipe with a 4 to 2.5 reducer I will try to make it to a meet but I dont know anybody
