I NEED A TRANNY! HELP

does anyone by chance have a 93 plymoth laser tranny? i need to get one soon. cuz i have no wheels to get to school!

its a 4G63 non turbo. just is an RS.

well rebuilt one. not new

check junkyards. And you need to know if it is a 6 bolt 4g63 or 7 bolt 4g63(the trannys are different)

i will make sure to fine out. pretty sure its a 6 bolt.

and nether queston.. does the spline count or whatever matter?

If it is just FWD, then you shouldn't need to know a spline count. That is to make sure the tranny output shaft matches up with the transfer case.
Other wise yes, a 22 spline tranny will only work with a 22 spline xfer case. and 23 to 23

yeah pretty much, and still havent found one

The tranny is still good. its just cracked from one of the top bolts to the bolt on the right side of the top one.

people are saying i could get it welded maybe? ill post a picture and someone can tell me what they think.

im not finding a new one anywhere so ill try to make due with this old one ( if i can even get it welded )

ive seen this problem u can either have it welded or if u good with a grinder use quick steel and grind it nice and flat not the prettiest but if its just a daily itll work fine. my experience is when welding pieces like these sometimes the heat warps these and they nvr seem to seal or line up right soo if u cant get a new one.... then ya lol

i wouldnt do that. if he dont take paypal anytime u send money in the mail its a huge risk. Especially cash! call ppl like vallie automotive and hansers and post an add on here and craigslist

i found a nether guy that will ship one to me. i can put it in and make sure its the right now before i have to send the payment.
