| anybody have any hookups at the driveline shop? i gotta get my driveshaft shortened 2 inches like now! just got the th400 put in and the shaft is 2 inches too long, was supposed to be dead nutts, well it aint. | |

| I usually deal with ITP..... but no break for me even through my shop it seams. They do great work but they sure do charge for what they do.
I don't know if Carquest machine does drive shaft work or not..... you could always call down there and talk to Duane. Great guy.
Other wise..... I have a welder, some V-blocks ....... and washers.....lol. But I don't garantee my guess-um balance hack job. But I know that puny engine of yours don"t make enough torque to phase my welding..... lol | |

| Never had this done locally but I believe Clutch masters does this as well. No idea how much though, but they have resurfaced my flywheel more than a few times free of charge. | |

But I know that puny engine of yours don"t make enough torque to phase my welding..... lol yeah haha, no shit. i took it down to clutch masters and they told me 75 bucks and they would have it done fast cause they're slow, so i'll just wait and pick it up tomarrow. i tried to build a driveshaft one time and it looked super flat at about 1000 rpm, but once it was on the car, it shook so fuckin bad at 35 mph we thought the damn thing was loose. turned out the basterd was about 10 oz out. i'll leave it to the pro's from here on out. | |

| hehehe Takes hands on experiance to know that I think. lol been there done that. That's why it's funny to talk about it right? lol And so the welding goes easier..... have you're buddy twist the driveline from the other end as you go right? lol. And it's always best to practice on an aluminum driveshaft I think. lol | |
