| Looks like tomorrow is a go. Fixed the plug on the transmission by drilling through it and feeding new wires and it looks like it is going to work. Time will tell I guess. | |

| I would like to say thanks to Matt for coming out on Thursday night and helping with the brake install. What a sweet setup. I would also like to thanks Montoya and Drew for coming out last night and helping with the transmission install. Once again I was almost killed by the driveshaft. | |

| Here is the installation pic of the new Wilwood proportional valve. Here is a pic of the transmission reinstalled. Today is going to be busy, but I hope to have the majority of the car back together. Going to be tidying things up and attaching them to the firewall/framerail then the motor will go back in. Pretty excited. | |

| I am frickin' loosing my mind. I have been trying to mate the transmission to the motor for about an hour and a half now without success. This is really the only downfall to having a twin disk clutch. I have an alignment tool and it is right on the money as far as having the clutches centered and in line with each other. I am going to take a break and go hit it up when I get the motivation.
FUCK! | |

| What a frickin' nightmare getting that damn thing mounted. I spent a total of 5 hours before I gave up and waited for Drew and Brandon to arrive. It took like 15 minutes once they got here. I have no idea what the deal was, but it is now mounted and I just need to finish everything else up.
Now the problem is my back is so screwed up from pushing and pulling the motor for 5 hours I can barely even move. I am hoping to get out to the garage here before noon and get a good majority of the motor put back together.
I am also installing my larger radiator and fill can on this go round. Drew made me some baller brackets and we got the fill tank mounted last night, which looks absolutely amazing. Cannot wait to see the finished product.

| Well looks like tomorrow is going to be the big reveal. After 3 days of hard work things are finally starting to pay off. The engine bay is going to look amazing, mostly because Drew is the man. Today we spent about 7 hours or so today just fabricating special brackets and such to make it look stellar. I only have about 30 minutes of work to get it back in to running form.
Thanks again to everyone that came out and helped this weekend, there is no way I would have been this far without you. And Drew, you are my boy!

| Well I packed my CXRacing radiator up along with the intercooler lower piping and got it off to the car wash. They ended up getting some over spray so I needed to clean them off. All looks great and all I am missing now are the spark plug wires, which are on they way I hope. | |

| I was wrong about how many hours I had left (big surprise). I worked on her for about 3 hours tonight and I am pretty much done. I dont want to take pics until it is 100%, so I am sorry to say it may be tomorrow before I am done. There was alot more stuff that I needed to get done than I had initially thought.
Hoping for tomorrow. | |

| Add another problem to the list. In an attempt to get my caliper fixed today I tore a seal on one of the pistons, so again I am at a stand still. The rest of the car is about 95% complete. I am hoping to have the seals by Friday. | |

| Project finally complete. Finished up about midnight and she runs great. I cannot believe my brakes now! I have yet to take it for a drive, but they are very very stiff. Thanks again for everyone that helped out, couldnt have done it without ya. Special thanks to Matt for the new brake system and fixing my f'd up caliper. | |

| Just got done with the can relocation and took her for a test drive down the road. Nice to have brakes for the first time since I did the STI conversion. Thanks again Matt! Ran the car for over 30 minutes and I have no transmission leaks anymore and the coolant did not spray out like it used to with the performance radiator (remember Shawn, the day the Civic towed the Dragon?). Looks like the overhaul was a success, but I am still confused to why the DCCD controller box does not work. I will be looking more into that this evening. As far as winter plans, I will start the prep process for the next paint job and get the new wing modified to fit the trunk lid better. Seems like it will be a pretty busy season. Here is the pic of everything in its correct place. | |

| Not sure if I mentioned it or not, but I decided to buy a stock '08 WRX wing to keep the flair value down on the car as my other V5 wing is way to big. I am going to be trying to get it to fit this weekend as it has a much smaller base and the '08 trunk has a slight slant to it unlike my RS trunk which is flat. It is going to take some fabrication to make this work, but it should look pretty amazing. | |

No... he likes it. but aerodynamic testing at Lewistown showed signs of adverse effects. It was actually causing lift instead of down force and making the tail real squirmy at 140MPH because it was actually lifting the rear wheels off the ground.

probably not going to be a sleeper so much. look at the big FMIC kinda gives it away. plus the cages.
