good machine shop

i used to take my stuff to bumper to bumper , since they clossed down i havent a clue were to find a trustworthy machine shop that will do what i want


so where should i get this block done at ?

like to hear about actual work that has been done(good or bad) and by who , thanks guys

i have had great luck with montana engine rebuilders. Kent and don bare do some good work.

i have heard good things about engines etc. never had anything done there though.

my shop uses Duane at carquest machine. He get backed up a bit though.

So far he's only bored one hypo block for me. Not bad.... but it was just a bore it out for bigger pistons. Didn"t go crazy on this one.
I still use my other guy for balance work though. he"s out in shepherd area.

no worries on the project ,its mapped out . i dotn waste peoples time , bein self employed i know how irritatin that is . thanks for the info

Engines ETC is where I had my block honed and pistons decked. They did a great job. I have also gone there for other misc engine related things.
